When are the ZOOM sessions and how can I join?

From 2020 to 2022, we hosted an online ZOOM Session each Tuesday night at 7:00 pm CST to address a wide range of topics in healthcare, including tips for how to apply to healthcare schools, practice interviews, and get admitted! In all we recorded 106 lectures, the last one being extra special:

We recorded our Sessions as we went along, and now we have them here on our website...for you! We want to help you move into your future career: Helping people with their medical challenges.

Here you'll find a wide range of lectures, from the applications process to operating on a patient's injured brain. We cover a broad realm, to help you get the experience that will help you make important decisions for your future.

After the Session, we encourage you to take the on-line examination. Once you pass with a 70% score, you can print off your "Certificate of Completion" and include these certificates on your application as "Online Shadowing", or as we say here....VIRTUAL SHADOWING!

Are You Still Having Live Sessions?

We recorded our excellent live Sessions and have saved them here for your enjoyment! Move at your own pace, and enjoy some really excellent clinician-lecturers sharing their experience with you!

Can this count as shadowing or healthcare experience?

You can definitely enter these Sessions under the "healthcare activities/experiences" for most college and graduate program applications and in your CV as well! We call these "virtual shadowing hours" as opposed to "in person shadowing hours".

Different programs may certainly categorize these online hours of healthcare experience in different ways. We believe that these educational programs are valuable to the applications process.

Who can I put for a contact when putting this on my medical school or PA school application?

For contact on your application, you can put Dr. Raymond Fowler as the person to contact. You can put virtualshadowing@gmail.com for the email. We are located in Dallas, Texas.

What is the passing score on an assessment and when are they due?

A score of 70 and above will earn you a certificate! Links to the assessments will be posted on our website and Instagram. Certificates will be automatically provided to you by Questbase.com after completion. We do NOT email out certificates.

How do I get my certificate every week?

You can get a certificate of completion every week after taking a short assessment at the end of the session! Once you have submitted your exam, the results page will provide you a link to your certificate. The name you enter into the "first" and "last" name entry boxes respectively is the name that will appear on your certificate. Please download this certificate IMMEDIATELY and keep it for your records. You WILL NOT be able to obtain your certificate or credit for this session after navigating from the quiz.

Can I keep trying the quizzes if I don't pass the first time?

Yes! Keep trying until you pass!
